Wide participation in the AFC Women’s Day

The Bahrain Football Association organized the Asian Football Confederation Women’s Day event on the association’s external fields, with the participation of 4 private schools (Al Bayan, British, Al Hakam and Talent), and 130 players.

The festival witnessed the attendance of the member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Her Excellency Sheikha Dr. Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, and the head of the Women’s Committee at the Bahrain Football Association, Her Excellency Sheikha Dawa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, and with the follow-up of the women’s team coach Bruno.

The festival, which was characterized by the active presence of parents and fans of women’s football, witnessed the allocation of two categories for each school: under 8 years and under 11 years.

The festival included mini-matches and competitive individual games; to enhance the vision of the Asian Federation in spreading women’s football on the widest scale.

At the end of the festival, all participants were honored as a form of encouragement for them.

This step by the Bahrain Football Association comes within the framework of interaction with the Asian Football Confederation Women’s Day, which enhances the contribution to spreading women’s football among various segments of society, and developing it by attracting talents and football raw materials, which contributes to providing the national teams with distinguished elements, and working to develop talents.
